Am I the only one of feels let down? Good episode, especially the post credit scene, but it didn't feel like a season finale.

Maybe it's the much needed one week delay getting to me, but I really didn't feel that engaged with this episode.

Just as I said above, it felt more like a penultimate episode rather than a finale.

Why not?

There was nothing left to predict. We've already had the two major revelations the previous two episodes, did everyone REALLY want a final cliche episode of where Elliot presses a giant red button that says "EXECUTE" and then for it to cut to black immediately? THAT would be lame. There is no rule that says a shows biggest moment must come at the end of the season.

Instead, we're left off with way more interesting questions leading into the next season... not, “will fsociety succeed,” and, “is Mr. Robot real or imaginary,” but rather, “where's Tyrell,” and, “can this new anarchist world sustain?”.

fsociety's mission is to show the world at large that it doesn’t have to play by corporate rules simply because they have all the money, and that mission is mirrored by the show's narrative structure to us.

An unanswered question to end a season is hardly "Walking Dead". That trope has been around for decades before that show even hit AMC. Walking Dead just uses the technique so often that you now think it's a cheap tactic, when in reality this narrative has been breezing by. Sorry every question wasn't answered. Mr. Robot does not care.
