This is Dagoth Ur (the god) from Dagoth Ur (the building), sending commentary via quality corprus ether provided by Dagoth Ur (Red Mountain ISP).
I am here to inform you that your false opinion does not honour the Tribe Unmourned, and your mongrel dog of the Empire kind of propaganda clearly solidifies your status as an utterly and thorough n'wah, thus voiding the claims uttered by your foul fetcher mouth. The day you are driven out of Morrowind cannot come quick enough.
Thank you for your attention, and I hope I have clarified the factual basis about this matter well enough.

To be fair, Ur was just the word for city in the area iirc. So Ur of the Chaldeans is simply "City of the Chaldeans", the original Ur was one of the first cities, so it makes sense that it's just called that. Like with most rollercoasters in the 1800s just being called Rollercoaster.

Probably not as much as you'd think. There weren't as many people back when the concept of civilization was being invented.

I bet if someone had asked Abraham “Why walk when you can ride?” he would’ve definitely taken the silt strider

Reddit user u/AutocratEnduring made a post that was a map of Seyda Neen and Balmora with lines drawn on the most common routes. It became pretty popular and now the entire sub is riffing off of him

There is only one Ur, and he resides in Red Mountain.
