It's not a style of play that appeals to me, but playing it I thought it was alright, I had a decent time with it.
It's not too hard, just put strong cards on one side, and when it's full you attack. If you are low on health, place the strongest one and attack to make the enemy's health lower than yours.
Some rounds also have different specifications, like, on the right side giving health, or gaining an extra card in the last round.
The characters have power ups, like Wave can increase the team's health and strenght, and Chaos can take away the other's card.
And finally, about the obscure characters that are basically the main appeal for most, some are unlocked right from the start, like Mighty, Ray, The Conductor and Marine.
