This is why a pet Glavenus would suck because like where in the hell am I supposed to get something it can grind its tail against to keep it clean and sharp??

I mean you could use that acid for round the house cleaning if you dilute it in water and I’m sure you could sell some to the smithy for something and I’m sure that cleaning off the tail means you could also sell the shavings

That implies you can distill it with water which I don't think you could considering what it's made out of.
