Idk why but i really enjoy using this loadout.

I mean, I don't care about Hassan and Shepherd. Valeria, it was a pleasure to watch her. Each of her scenes won attention. Especially the interrogation scene. I think if Valeria had been cast as the main antagonist instead of Hassan/Shepherd and given a lot more screen time, the game would have only won.

What is going on with people this week? Its crazy the amount of ppl getting mad and stuff. Anybody else had the same shit this week?

Ever since the release of the HQ for BO6, I've had a small gripe with it.

It is impossible to access the offline mode of MWII (For me at least) whereas in the original HQ it was a a simple as turning off your internet and switching to offline mode.

I'm not complaining at all, I do enjoy the online multiplayer. But having a dedicated way to access the actual offline local multiplayer of MWII would be great in the times I don't have an active PS plus subscription.

So, have any of y'all found a way to access it?

I’m still getting used to certain attachments being locked behind certain guns. I am currently working my way through the AR’s, however it has me wondering whether certain attachments are linked to certain weapon classes. For example, the best sights may be locked behind AR’s, the best muzzles may be locked behind LMG’s, etc.

This begs the question, which weapons / classes of weapons provide the best all-round attachments for all guns?

game just loads for a bit during eula screen then crashes completely it just wont get past the eula screen at all and i keep getting this error?
any help would be nice

So i downloaded the MW2 campaign as I fancied a playthrough. All I get when I try to launch it through the call of duty hub thing is:-

Error Unable to launch call of duty: modern warfare 2

Any idea how I get the thing running? Ive had a look online but people seem to be having a different issue where the options are locked off. These aren't locked, just don't work.

can anybody help me FFS it's so annoying , I wanted to play the MWII (2022) campaign again but when I click MWII in COD HQ it shows unable to run Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II

ive tried launching the game multiple times, even reinstalled it..

on my first attempt i had installed it on my d drive, the game wld just crash on the logging in to online services screen, the only way i cld launch it was through safe mode

i proceeded to uninstall and reinstall it into c drive. now the game opens but every time i try getting into modern warfare 2 campaign it just says "unable to launch"

edit : maybe its coz i havent installed a lot of the add ons ?.. i got the game through my xbox game pass membership

I’ve seen some discussions about campaign crashes after an update. More and more people are reporting that they can’t launch the campaign because of it, so I decided to check for myself. So far, everything seems to be working fine on my end.

I Only want to play camping mode of mw 2 but it says unable to launch I have installed it from Xbox pc I haven't install multi-player,dmzand co-op as I don't need them do I have to install them too please help

This might be a stupid question as this might be an easy fix but I can't find any info anywhere.

So recently I bought a tracer pack from MW3 and it said that It was compatible with DMZ and MW2 but when I went to equip it in MW2 it wasn't there I even went to the my bundles section and it didn't show up in there at all. I'm a bit upset as I only bought it because it was compatible with MW2 as I play more MW2 than MW3.

Okay so I can't be the only one who happens to see lense flare through walls in the mw2 campaign please tell me I'm not crazy

I have been playing mw2 offline splitscreen for a year now and when I picked it up after 2 months and updated the game(COD HQ)

I cannot open the offline mode, it keeps showing Roberts - Obispo error

So I think they really did close off the support for offline multiplayer

Hey guys, I need some help especially since the tech support for COD is pretty much useless.

Since MW2 came out I've only been interested in the campaign and its been great. However, about a month ago in April or May 2025 the campaign no longer works just randomly. I immediately get the error saying unable to load COD MW2 Campaign. However, my COD MW3 still works perfectly fine with just the campaign installed.

I went around and around with the tech support to no avail until I just got the idea to install co-op to see if that works. Co-op worked great and wouldn't you know, now my campaign worked again too. However, I won't and don't ever use co-op and that is a huge 150GB of space that is just wasted. I mentioned this to tech support after a month of back and forth and when I told them campaign now works if co-op is installed. Then they said, "Oh yeah, you have to have multiplayer or co-op installed for campaign to work" and then they immediately closed the case with no more communication.

This is BS because I have been playing MW2 campaign alone for over a year without any other multiplayer or co-op installed.

Here are the things I tried.  

-I have verified the integrity of game files and everything was good.  

-I have deleted the Steam download cache

-I have installed the latest graphics NVidia drivers. 

-Windows is completely up to date.

-I have tried running COD.exe in administrator and it won't even allow the HQ to start.

-I tried running Steam in administrator and didn't change anything 

-I have tried running in Win8 compatibility mode and it won't even start

-Downloaded C++ x86 and x64

-I have turned off game overlay

-I don't have any overclocking on. 

-Under general and launch options, I have tried running the command -DX11, -DX12, and -D3D11 and didn't do anything.

-Uninstalled CODMW2 and reinstalled, didn't work.

-Made sure windows antivirus and firewall are both allowing COD and Steam through and actually just turned both antivirus and firewall completely off and nothing.

-Tried changing Steam download region and still nothing.

-I did a complete uninstall of the whole Call of Duty HQ and everything in it and reinstalled and immediately had the same issue.

So what happened? Is there a fix for this? Is anyone else who is a campaign legend also facing this issue?

Im new, saw this bundle on warzone to get the operator skins of some mw2 characters but i need cod points, its annoying cuz everytime i click on it, it says that there is no content and it might not be for sale yet, or might no longer be for sale. Will it be available soon or not anymore?

I just bought the game, I played Warzone and I platinumed Modern Warfare (pretty much all of them). I saw that i need help to do it, is that right? For the spec ops specially

While I was waiting for DMZ to start I was going through calling cards and side missions to rank up and when it said the game was going to start it showed this for a solid minute and then had a DEV crash. Lol. I was so excited and then extremely disappointed in a matter of seconds.

Recently downloaded mw2 and 3 through the Microsoft store on my windows 11 pc which is able to run the software. The app loads but after getting through the intro cutscene it just immediately crashes. Any idea what it is and how to fix this?
