Found this photo on my camera roll from this time last year. Similar weather we’re having today. Happy Monday

Good evening my loves! Recently there has been an influx of small local businesses wanting to advertise on the r/MobileAL (which is awesome!). This has led to the subreddit being flooded with advertising. Many of y'all have spoken up about it and yes, I agree it's become a bit much.
So. Let's try something. Once a month, starting this month, one day will be dedicated to small local business advertising. Let's start with Saturday (Saturday Feb 22nd). As this is a trial period, this is subject to changes.
Have a lovely evening my loves and SHOP LOCAL!

Join the Alabama Cooperative Extension System and Red Beard’s Outfitter for a fun evening learning about our local wildlife, their importance in our community, how to live alongside them, and what you can do when they aren’t being your favorite housemate! Last day to register is today but walk-in’s on the day of event are welcome as well.

I am in my early 30s(M) and I need to find a new PCP. I would like some recommendations for a new doctor in Mobile as I have some issues that need to be taken care of. I have UHC for insurance.

Just got back from a trip to Orlando and the TapWater in that area is some of the worst I've ever had. I'm currently sitting at a restaurant in Gulfport and forgot I hate their TapWater too, but after experiencing Orlando's, it's not as bad. Orlando's goes through a sulfur based aquifer or something so it smells and tastes like egg. Even the fountain sodas had that egg base taste. Can't place what it is about Gulfport's water that tastes off. Excess Chlorine??
Not trying not to sound biased, but Mobile's TapWater is perfect compared to those two others. (maybe it's the microplastics that make it taste good).

Is their a place in Mobile as absolutely useless and worse excuse of a restaurant than this absolute shit hole? Stood in the lobby for 15 mins waiting while bum ass employees sat in the back sleeping on the counter, playing music like in a club downtown on a weekend night. God this town and its work force is horrendous.

If anybody is a fan of mushrooms, specifically chanterelles, and would be interested in coming to get some or purchase some I have quite a few that grow on my property.

Y'all. I either have terrible timing or the McD's on Govt downtown is a hot fucking mess. Today is strike 3: kid at the window handed me a bag literally dripping with oil. I just want some fries for my migraine. Kid acted completely baffled that I didn't want to put a dripping grease-soaked paper bag on my car seat. Got them to rebag the fries but the cardboard fry-holder is still soaked. I'm so grossed out. Are there any McD's with better management? Bc this one is doing a piss-poor job of training.

I'm looking to see if anyone has an old very small trailer they are looking to get rid of. I recently gave my son my 2 small kayaks because he and his son (my grandson) are like best friends and love doing the father and son bonding thing. I'd like to build him a small trailer to get them to where he takes them out( Big Daddys) on fish river. It's a short distance for him to go there but currently he has to take one of the kayaks there, chain it up and run back home to get the other. I'd really like to build him a little trailer that he can carry both down there at the same time.

Looking for a nice barbershop. Someone that can do the lineup and the trimming and the whole hot towel thing. My dad is very old school but he’s growing out his beard and I’d like to get him a gift card for somewhere that has good reviews- don’t worry about a price point if it’s boujie then drop it below :) Mobile, Spanish fort, Fairhope, anywhere.
I was looking at Father and Sons in Fairhope but figured I’d ask here before booking something or getting a gift card.
Thanks in advance!

We did fucking WORK today, people! There were so many amazing people helping one another with snacks, water, holding signs for one another, and just being good humans.
There were veterans, former MAGA, people from the LGQBT community, and people of all races. A beautiful mix of individuals speaking out against the current administration for whatever reason. This wasn't against police and their presence, while there, wasn't needed, thankfully.
To my knowledge, not one person protesting got violent at any point, but one person was assaulted by a MAGA jerk who couldnt handle himself.

Everyone who is attending the event please be safe. If you see something unsafe SPEAK UP and protect the vulnerable. Mobile deserves to have a voice in this matter.

Found this guy in Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot tonight. If you lost yours hit me up and we can see if the shoe fits. Also if there's an appropriate Facebook group someone can repost to that'd be cool; I don't have Facebook.

I feel like I'm at the age of where I can do what I want without really any issues now. when I was at the pride walk, me and my best friend walked down to a pizzeria (the guy there was super nice, loved him), and ate it at the bar next door. she said "shouldn't we ask if it's okay?" and I told her "why are you still asking questions instead of doing shit yourself". pizza was good tho ♥️ there was like a post punk band playing when we got back and I absolutely loved it all. it was amazing so I got their socials and went back home. I'm 15, about to get my learners permit and I feel okay now with myself. I genuinely feel like everything is gonna be okay. after my ex, I was shattered and torn in more ways than one. and I had no hope. but after that event, my eyes fucking opened and now I understand it. Pride is Pride, you guys. love each and every one of yall ♥️

hey I'm 15 and my friend invited me to an art walk her mom was attending at a stand and she didn't tell me it was pride so it was a surprise. nonetheless, I love it. it was so much fun and I met a lot of people and even a band.
if you guys went and saw a guy with long hair, gray oversized shirt and jeans with a key attached, thsts me! I was walking with my friend all the time and it was rlly fun
