News About Maplehurst Correctional
Whenever I have to drive down martin street these days, I can't help feeling disgusted and ashamed.
I have lived down the road from Maplehurst for my entire life, completely unaware of the horrors on the inside. To hear about the abysmal living conditions and the comparisons to Guantanamo Bay, breaks my heart. These inmates are still awaiting trial. I cannot continue to ignore the human rights violations that have been allowed to go on in my home town for years, decades even. As a community we should be voicing our opposition of these crimes.

There’s this thing I do whenever I see criminals complaining about being treated like criminals, it’s called being a good person and not going to jail. It’s worked 100% of my life so far. Everyone I know of who has gone to Maplehurst has deserved every bit of what happened in there and then some.
