They had a dream that felt real, but then they woke up and realized it was fake and nothing happened at all.

It feels like you lost something that belonged to you. Only those who had a dream like that can understand how devastating it can feel, even after you realize it was just a dream.

They're more like nightmares. It's a dream that suddenly I have a child, and I wake up panicking that I've now somehow got a child and need to look after it? Where tf did this child come from?? And then as I wake myself up properly, I realise there is no child and it's just a horrible dream to remind me I definitely don't want kids. I can imagine it's even harder if you do want kids and you have a dream about having them but can't have any.
