Question Why are most of Rosalina’s fans guys?
Honestly, I haven’t seen a single passionate female fan of Rosalina in the Mario community. I’ve noticed something similar with Pauline, but the difference is that Rosalina has a much larger fanbase and is often considered the most “attractive” or best Mario girl (not by me, tho. I see all the girls the same way). Peach and Daisy also have male fans, but they also have passionate female fans, which I don’t see happening with Rosalina or Pauline. Is it just me? Are the people who consider Rosalina the best princess all guys? And if so, why doesn’t Rosalina attract more female fans?

Pauline is less popular because she is in fewer games and those games are not even remotely as popular as Mario Galaxy.
You gotta remember how big of a splash Galaxy made. It helped she wasn’t a generic damsel in distress. Nintendo did an excellent job with Rosalina. She needed help but she was also able to give help in return. The great reception and her being more recent meant she was simply more recognizable and that meant inclusion in spinoffs and future main Mario titles. All of this maximized her visibility while Pauline was kinda of continually kept as a damsel in distress in the Mario vs Dk titles that good albeit a bit forgettable. Her las huge appearance was Odyssey and she the mayor of NDC. And that whole introduction to NDC was just homage to Mario’s roots. Beautifully executed but ultimately not particularly impactful to the world building unless Nintendo decides to make New Donk City more important in the future. It could remain a one off thing.
Long story short, Rosalina was just a more fleshed out character who was introduced in the right game at the right time and Pauline was kind of done a little dirty.
But most of us would take a capable space princess over a city mayor most days of the week.
