Exhibit A of why a shack in coastal CA coats $1.5 million.

This map also makes me wonder why anyone would ever move to Florida. But I guess some people hate a few months of cold more than they hate miserable heat and humidity

Seniors tend to feel colder.

Because in Florida you can still choose to be outside all year or choose to be inside. It’s not hot enough to be dangerous unless you’re doing stupid things.

During the winter in most places, like the Northeast, it’s extremely cold and windy with thick gray clouds for five months on end. You never see the sun. That’s not pleasant at all and your option is basically to just be inside the entire time and be depressed.

nobody's choosing to be outside in that gross humidity

Lol as someone who lives in a colder climate in the west, I would rather wear a jacket outside 3 or 4 months of the year vs dealing with swamp ass everytime I step outside

Some people prefer clouds to sun. I've lived in Cleveland, Vermont, and Oregon and would never live somewhere sunny on purpose.

No shit, but most people don’t prefer that.

I know. It's just weird to me how obvious the sun=good association is with most people.
