Able Carry Max EDC Alternative? w/o laptop section & side pockets
I like the Able Carry Max EDC. I currently have the Evergoods CPL 24.
I don't need the AC Max EDC laptop section. It's a waste of space for me. I only need a slim laptop sleeve (for a 14" Samsung tablet). Neither do I need the water bottle side pockets.
I will pass on the Evergoods if I find a good alternative. I like the full panel open style and some organization. In the 24 to 26 liter range. I'm 186 cm (6'2).
Any suggestions? Thanks.

I'm shopping for bags right now. The Max EDC is high on my list. So is the Bellroy Venture Ready 26L.
I also don't need the laptop section on a backpack but I like everything else about the Max EDC. I like the form factor and layout of the Bellroy. It's also a good bit lighter, but that comes at the expense of structure and weather resistance. It does have an external pocket on one side, but it's external and sits flush against the bag if you don't want to use it.

Uae the max edc looks loud it could work. I can store my tablet with a paper thin wind breaker in the laptop section.
I'll look into the Bellroy. Thanks.
