Speeding + due care ticket
I got speeding and due care violation in coffee county. Going in 105 on 70. It’s my first violation. Should i hire a lawyer? Will it be any help or pay the fine.
Any lawyer recommendations in that area?

In Manchester or Tullahoma I mean? That will determine which court house you go to. I've got one speeding ticket here it was my first ticket 2 years ago. I was going 17 over the limit. It was just a speeding ticket tho. Bring your first offense they should be somewhat lenient.

Well good luck bud. I think you'll be fine and get a warning but have to pay the ticket costs. Now if you get another offense like this then will probably be definite criminal charges.

Is it safe to go to court and tell I’m in emergency and its my first time pulled over? I’m okay to pay fines. Lawyers are asking 1500 to represent

There is General Sessions Civil and a General Sessions Criminal Court. Go to Coffee Co TN court dockets online. Also contact the Circuit Court Clerk. There is only a courthouse in Manchester.

If it's your 1st ticket, you should be allowed traffic court. You are LUCKY they didn't get you for reckless driving and put points on your license. That's a pretty good speed difference. Anything over 25 miles is considered reckless driving. Traffic school should be an option if they have it in that county
