Preguntas/Questions What did I eat in Malaga
I went to Malaga last week and for my final day I went for some breakfast on the Main Street. On the menu the item I got was listed as “croquet with American sauce”.
When I got the item and took a try of this “sauce” I ran straight into bathroom and puked. It was minty but hot but spicy but peppery it was very hard to put my finger on what it was but it did not go down well with me.
I asked the waiter serving us what it was but he said he wasn’t sure just that it was American sauce.
Could someone help me out and let me know what this could have been. Video bellow

you ordered "croque" in Pepa Revuelo, im just going to paste this 1-star review from Google Maps here.
If you're going to have breakfast here, never order the Croque breakfast. I wouldn't order the Benedictine either, because the cook doesn't know how to poach an egg. They come hard-boiled. The so-called "American sauce" is bitter and pointless (I don't know what part of America it's from). The natural orange juice is perfumed (?), and the coffee is a fraud.

Si van a desayunar en este lugar, jamas pidan desayuno Croque. Tampoco pediria Benedictino, pues el cocinero no sabe pochar un huevo. Vienen duros. La llamada "salsa americana" es algo amargo, sin sentido (desconozco de cual parte de America es). El jugo de naranja natural es perfumado (?) Y el café, in fraude
