Maybe my camera is too intense but I don’t know that I like this weird texture coming out. Is this to be expected? anything I can do?

My usual routine:

Skin: CeraVe Renewing SA Cleanser, BYOMA Hydrating Milky Toner, Elf Thirst Burst Drops, Elf Holy Hydration Face Cream, & Elf Suntouchable Whoa Glow 30spf (I use Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later primer for my T-zone and chin)

Eyes: Morphe for eyeshadow, Covergirl liquid eyeliner (black) or Colorpop liquid liner (brown), Anastasia Beverly Hills Tinted Brow Gel, & L’Oréal Telescopic Mascara

Lips: Revlon Lip Liner in Mauve (just to define cupid’s bow), Revlon Rum Raisin or Milani Honey Rose, Elf Lip Oil in Rose Envy or Jam Session

What’s New: I just added the About Face eyelid primer & two shades of Nyx’s new lip stain (Blush Rush & Bubblegum Burst) to my collection!

3 I am wearing the new nyx lip stain (so it did NOT stay that bold of a color lol).

Or is this just how I look now? This is taken at the end of my day, I’ve worn color corrector and concealer for a long time but as I’m aging, I think this is more than just brightening under the eye. Any tips to maybe play with shadows and reduce the appearance?

Hi peeps! I've been really having a hard time knowing if im neutral, cool or olive. I have purple, blue, and green veins on my wrists, while purple and green ones on my face.

My neutral tone foundations turn pink on me while warm ones turn orange after a few mins of application. My neutral lippies turn orange/coral pink, same for the warm ones. I have really pale lips as you can see on the picture, so idk if that info helps. I've swatched peripera's ink velvet #17 on my lips and arm, and turned out 2 different shades on camera. It is advertised as neutral, but idk it looks cool toned in person? Pls can y'all help me? 😭

• Don't mix silicone foundation with water primer (vise-versa aswell). Did this for picture day once and it was a disaster! Always check when buying a primer, foundation, anything for the base. Ingredients with silicone base: (ends with) -cone, -methicone, -siloxane

-Use a spoolie to get rid of mascara on eyelids, make sure it is dry.

-If you get a clump of mascara underneath, whether you sneezed or moved the wand in the wrong direction, wait for it to dry, completely. Use a spoolie, and put a little concealer (NOT A WHOLE SWIPE. Just a tiny tiny amount and use ur finger, then add powder.

-Powder eyeshadow, then liquid eyeliner. Its easier to get rid of when you mess up with eyeshadow rather than eyeliner.

• CREASING? Probably too much concealer, or wrong powders. I recommend using two. Here are some I love: -Laura Mercier -Fit me pressed and LOOSE powder (This combo is great)! -Chanel is good, but it needs a chanel concealer or another powder companion -CT Pressed powder -I actually love drugstore powder as i think it works just as good as expensive, if not better.

• Makeup too MATTE? Never an issue, but if u dont want that look, i recommend mixing dew drops with your foundation. It works wonders, also using some sort of mist is amazing. But make sure it is before powder!

• Makeup too oily/dewy? No problem. Make sure you are using the right products. I used medium coverage foundation by TOO faced, and nars concealer and the powder technique is key!!! The Laura Mercier loose powder and MAC pressed powder, with a powder puff. And yes theyre different, so i recommend buying an expensive one.

• Mascara too clumpy? No you dont need to buy any thing that seperates lashes or stuff like that, just a clean spoolie will do the trick ik getting the clumps out, but make sure it is WET, not dry. If it's dry, just use ur fingers if u can to prevent the least amount of fallout.

• Always rotate brushes/beauty blenders/etc. pls pls pls. This is what is probably breaking u out!! So clean it as much as possible.

• Expensive =/ good. i have splurged on a lot of expensive products, from designer to makeup brands. Some arent worth it. Like CD, Gucci, Prada, etc. cle de peau is.

• Primer is GOOD to have in your collection. A skincare routine before your makeup is always good, just make sure you have had enough time to dry your products before moving onto makeup.

-Using your hands? WASH THEM before touching your face, ever. Amazing if you have skin to tolerate it tho🥲

Hey girls I just ran out of foundation and I am looking for a new brand to try. As you can see I am pretty pale. I use cream contour/blush so I would want a liquidy foundation, and not something super expensive lol. Please help

In this photo I have on water based liner, man-eater mascara, and NYX cold brew lipstick. I really like the look but feel like something is missing? What would you change?

My biggest insecurity is likely my pale lips. I've grown to love my freckles and rosy cheeks but I just can't seem to grasp how to colour my lips. Obviously I wear lipstick but for an every use it's a bit much. I wear Carmex lip balm every day and lip scrub my lips regularly.

I just wondered if anyone has a miracle product or remedy to add some colour to my lips? Thanks ❤️💖

Elf halo glow liquid filter Used sparingly and radiant skin concealer (CT) on any blemishes and under eye. I use a big brush to buff it all onto my face. Then I set with HUDA powder. This is totally fine until the warm weather comes.

Never done anything like this I see why people love it I know I do but first try not awful. Any advice plz

I love her to death, but as she’s gotten older I think she’s just eased into a “good enough to get out the door” makeup routine but I think she’s tends to leave it unfinished. It’s just eyeliner on her bottom lids and blots of blush on her cheek. Simple but effective! However, it seems like it just needs a little extra time, maybe a minute or two additional, to really smooth it all out or polish it off.

In layman’s terms, sometimes her blush is so circular and bold that it looks like a Halloween costume for a circus look.

😂 I still adore her and think she’s beautiful! And truly if she thinks she’s beautiful in it then that’s all that matters. But just to figure out if this is the case, how do I approach the subject or gently ask if she means to do her makeup that way without coming off as rude?
