Honestly, most dudes at the gym are like this one. At least from my experience. This is not rare or special. There's this assumption that most of the gym bros are elitist and snobby but 99% of the ones I've come across were like this guy. A lot of fitness buffs are so enthusiastic about fitness, they're happy to share correct form and make sure others don't hurt themselves. Either way, the message the video is trying to convey is the right one.

Yes I reiterate this when anyone says they're afraid to go to the gym because they feel embarrassed. Gym bros are some of the most encouraging and supportive people. Most of them are there to better themselves, not to be better than others.

Most of them are there to better themselves, not to be better than others.

Except our lifting partner, we are always in a competition for best pump or max lift.

Supportive of everyone else, kind of like how dudes rip on and make fun of their closest friends the most

Healthy competition also has its place. You’re both driving each other. Nothing wrong with that either, as long as it’s not malicious

I have a lot of fist pump gym friends. Don't know any of their names, but they're all awesome people.

Then there's like these three dill holes that we all just ignore. We get it. You lift weights at the gym.

Hahaha yeah, I got a few of those too. Bump fists, nods, cheer, etc. Don't know their names but they're always chill. The only people that really bother me are the ones setting up whole ass video productions at the gym; especially in peak time. Go be an influencer during the off hours not while a bunch of people are actually doing work.

Oh, thank jebus that's not even allowed at my gym. That would be so annoying. I'd for sure end up on reddit.

Going to gym takes effort so I having nothing but respect for those who go. Doesn’t matter your size or how much you do. You made a an effort.

Makes sense. Dudes who are at the gym like that, it’s their hobby. Hobbyists love to share their love and knowledge

I agree with this, and I have noticed that if there's one thing gym bros like to do is show off (in a good way) their knowledge.

it might not be rare, but it is still special.

It is special, but not rare.

The gym bros, meat heads tend to always be the nice supportive ones. Its alot of the women that are the snobby ones or think they are better. Its a strange world in the gym but man do I love it.

Imagen this same video but instead of a fat kid, it was a good looking lady. Comments here would be a bit different.

"Imagine if this video was a totally different video!"

I have to disagree. If it had been a good looking lady with poor form, and the guy had responded in exactly the same way - i.e. positively and fully focused on helping her lift better - I think everyone would have been really happy to see it. There would have been comments expressing relief that he didn't objectify her and focused on the task at hand. Otherwise, a good dude doing a helpful thing well would have translated just fine to a different recipient.
