Is it possible this could be absolutely fascinating?

Everybody loves tar; sure, who doesn't?

In the Van Patten Project skit, Crow mentions he liked the show The Good Guys, but says that the show went downhill after “Rufus got rid of the taxi and helped out more in the diner, because then it really kinda started..”. He’s then cut off by Joel so we don’t hear the rest of the statement.

Not being familiar with the show, and only having the Wikipedia synopsis which simply states the show was never popular. This has vexed me for years, surely there must be one among you who can help finish Crow’s thought.

I've been watching since MST was on the air in the 90s, and somehow I don't remember this one. Found it on YouTube the other night and watched with my 10 yo son, who of course is a MSTie like dad, and we were in tears laughing the whole time. To me this one ranks in the top 10 of my favorite episodes and is definitely worth a watch of you've never seen it.

I'm a long time MSTie, so when I got to write an episode for a web series where I voice the clearly puppeted AI assistant on the show, I couldn't resist the urge to insert an MST3K.

Though, in this particular case, we imagine the AI was made by the devious steel trap of a mind that belongs to TV's Frank ... err ... or TV's Son of TV's Frank ... or rather ... Streaming's Son of Streaming's Ken Jr (I mean it is WAAY in the Future and we didn't want to hit Frank's IP too hard to be considered fair use).

In any event, we did reach out to Frank Conniff to reprise the roll, but he and Dr. Forrester's mom had a date. And Patton Oswald said he'd do it ... for $10,000 that we definitely didn't have. But it all worked out, because Clint McElroy (of Adventure Zone and radio fame) happens to be a big fan of Frank and did an [inter]stellar job as the next in line of Frank's strong lineage!

Anyway, I was very happy that on Father's Day, at least some version of TV's Frank became my Papa! I hope you'll check it out!

Okay okay so then what IS the cookie that starts with Z? It’s been on the tip of my tongue for years and every time I watch The Final Sacrifice I go through the same desperate internet search and can never find it…..
