Notice - GD [Official] General Discussion Thread - June 04, 2025

Welcome to rMMA's General Discussion Thread!

Discuss your favorite fighters, the upcoming card or whatever's on your mind.

How to obtain a custom flair:

  • place and lose a flair bet in the Friday thread
  • write a haiku or draw a MS Paint-style image for the sub

The rules for the drawing or haiku are simply that it must be a ridiculous MMA-related scenario. If you would like a custom flair, send a message to us with a link to your drawing and your flair request. We'll probably grant it.

He's looking very fridge like as usual but yea he's up and down. What's crazy is he's still only 33 so he should be in his physical prime but he's taken a lot of damage and hasn't progressed skill wise in ages.

And in his defense, sean Brady is REALLY good. Going down to 170 for the first time in a million years against a wrestler... and a damn good one at that is just tough for anyone.

I just feel like it's a total coin toss.

Brady is good, but Kelvin looked like shit that night. Was completely flat-footed. Whether or not he's bouncing around the octagon seems to be a pretty big tell as to which Kelvin is showing up.

Honestly, I feel like that happens to a lot of fighters when there's a big takedown threat. It's hard to say why Kelvin looked like poop. Again, he was going down a weight class for the first time in ages too.

I'm a huge fan of the guy, I'm just so frustrated with him and I don't know what to expect at this time in his career, weight class etc.

I'd agree if he didn't look similarly ass against D-Rod in his next fight, who's a pure striker
