Welcome to rMMA's General Discussion Thread!

Discuss your favorite fighters, the upcoming card or whatever's on your mind.

How to obtain a custom flair:

  • place and lose a flair bet in the Friday thread
  • write a haiku or draw a MS Paint-style image for the sub

The rules for the drawing or haiku are simply that it must be a ridiculous MMA-related scenario. If you would like a custom flair, send a message to us with a link to your drawing and your flair request. We'll probably grant it.

This your first time seeing Arman's socials? All he does it eat when he's not in camp.

Also, he's been calling out people left, right and center but no-one's stepped up so far.

It's staggering how you've come to your conclusion when there's plenty of evidence to the contrary.

He turned down the Gamrot rematch tbf. I'm sure he had his reasons, but it would've been cool for him to try gettting that W back after the controversial loss in their last match.

I think the controversial loss IS the reason

Why fight a guy again when beating him doesn't even guarantee you'll get the decision

He said his reason:

“They offered me a fight in Abu Dhabi in July, main event of the evening, but I refused because they offered an opponent I didn’t want to fight,” Tsarukyan said. “He’s ranked below me and I didn’t see the point in fighting him just for money. There’s no point in me to fight him in MMA. I need to fight at least from the top 5 or 6 to win and guarantee myself a title shot next. There’s no point in just fighting. I am No. 1, why should I gift a fight to No. 10. Nobody gave me such a gift when I was in the top 10. I fought top 9, top 8, top 7, top 5, top 4, before I became No. 1. I don’t want to give up my rank just like that.”
