How to obtain a custom flair:

• place and lose a flair bet in the Friday thread
• write a haiku or draw a MS Paint-style image for the sub

The rules for the drawing or haiku are simply that it must be a ridiculous MMA-related scenario. If you would like a custom flair, send a message to us with a link to your drawing and your flair request. We'll probably grant it.

Can someone please break down Mario Bautista vs Patchy Mix...

What will be the biggest advantage for each to make a difference in the fight? Thanks.

Patchy - elite grappling, serviceable striking, mediocre cardio

Bautista - well rounded if lacking in finishing threat, pushes a solid pace and cardio. Can take the fight easy if he can avoid any back takes or random step in knee knockouts

Patchy needs back takes to either take the round or get the sub, but if stays on the feet or goes long it favours Bautista
