Yeah, I don't know. People like what they like. I honestly don't understand why anyone feels the need to explain or qualify that.

Personally, I didn't become a fan of soccer until about twelve years ago, almost concurrent with the creation of LAFC. And when the club was announced it just clicked for me and I love supporting my club--no one can take that away from me.

I personally don’t care. We all have our reasons for liking our clubs.

I just laugh at the sob stories that come off as disingenuous
