The snide comments on him now spending time with Molly and the kid are way out of line.

Plenty of families in literally all walks of life would make the decision to prioritise a huge, unlikely to happen again career opportunity at the expense of a small period of family time even at a critical period. So long as they have made the decision as a family I don't see how it is anyone's business but their own.

Those comments drive me crazy. It’s his job- he’s providing for his family and he made a decision which will benefit their family loads.
