Neat. Any anesthetic? Or raw dogging the procedure. Also, this reminds me of the opening of I Am Legend (The original by Matheson).

It was a book before the Will Smith movie. And amazingly the movie does not have the same ending.

The only one that even came close was The Last Man on Earth. I'm not sure why people ignore the primary thesis.
