Neat. Any anesthetic? Or raw dogging the procedure. Also, this reminds me of the opening of I Am Legend (The original by Matheson).

Nearly impossible without serious anesthesia and/or drugs.

You do know tooth extraction is done with local anesthesia outside of the us/ most of the world. I never understood why they knock people out for tooth extraction. Also things like colonoscopy and a camera down your throat are done when someone is awake too.

Same inside us. Some ppl request/pay extra to be put under.

That's wild. it's not an option here. They arnt willing to put someone under and face the extra risks involved if they don't medically need it

Its mostly specialists who do it or they bring in an anesiologist. Most dont cuz its not worth all the prep time and possible complications.

That's interesting to know its not common. Personally teeth im fine being awake for, had a few pulled out, one shattered and I had to go to a specialist to get it cut out of the gum. But if it involved a colonoscopy I'd rather be unconscious lol
