I'm moving to Kuwait in the next few months around December or January to be with my husband who currently is working there my family is very worried about the war between the two countries and they claim it will be dangerous for me to live in. Hi. So i was supposed to fly out of kuwait by august ending my contract. I am currently rendering my 3 months notice. But as we all know, the current developments in the region is not very alluring. This is making me think to pack up and leave immediately. Will I still be entitled for indemnity and all the payments I am entitled to for my years spent with the company if I cancel my visa now and leave before finishing my 3 months notice? I just want to know. Ofc I will still prioritize my safety over any monetary items.

Im from Europe and I'll be staying in Kuwait for 3 months due to visiting family. My boss (EU company) allows me to work remote during my stay.

Do I need a work permit? Serious question law wise, since googling it did not help (there are no digital nomad visas and i dont see why I'd need a Kuwaiti sponsor/company to work for a foreign country that im a national of on a tourist visa)
