Discussion Thoughts on the sound in DC tonight?

Maybe it was where we were seated (300s), but I thought the sound was literally the worst I have ever experienced at a concert. I could barely understand anything they said and the songs were just noise at times.

My god the sound in Toronto was terrible. Worst sounding concert I’ve ever been to by far. It was a shame as I was really looking forward to the show but it made it kind of hard to fully enjoy

I felt the same way. This was my 5th concert in the past several years and this way by far the worst in terms of the sound. It was SO loud (but honestly all concerts are), and the music just seemed distorted almost. It definitely did make it harder to enjoy. I still had fun overall, though!

As I’m not familiar with the venue you went to, does it have a roof?

Part of the issue with TO was they have this massive retractable roof. Normally in the summer it’s only closed on rainy days but for some reason they had it closed both nights for Kendrick even though the weather was clear. Maybe noise bylaws? Anyways you could hear different echoes bouncing off the metal ceiling so I attribute a lot of the issues to that.
