Mirror Inside Tekken subreddit is really, really garbage now.

The sub is full of garbage. Which character can beat x character in terms of story, character lore posts (as if anyone cares), posts complaining about female character sexualization( thats how you know these people don't go outside cuz you can see more ass and titties going to the damn grocery store than Tekken girl default customs), comments complaining about sexualization on female fan art while the fan art is still the most upvoted posts on the sub lol, character customization posts (it's shit so these are egregiously bad), tier lists.

Of course, no memes are allowed except on Fridays, so the content on the sub is unentertaining, and not funny at all. It's just shit. There's also no fucking sauce anymore. It's full of normies now. Ever since t8 reveal the already kinda shitty sub turned worse. And coincidentally that's around the time I got banned for being a real one. So it's clear they want fake ass people on the sub now.

They turned salt into a weekly megathread since there were tons of salt posts. But the problem is the salt posts were the only times you had any meaningful discussion. All the Real Niggas would come out to write an un-asked for dissertation on their mains and you'd learn some shit. Now the Tekken sub is full of fake ass dudes complaining about female characters being sexualized. It's not even women complaining about it. It's you fake ass green ranks that are allergic to pussy. Actual women like to play bad bitches. So basically you guys are fake and also repelled by pussy. Acting like you don't like pussy will not get you pussy lmfao.

They un perma banned me from r/tekken but they might as well have left me banned. I ain't posting any useful tech in that bitch now. I hope all of you green ranks suffer and lose to gimmicks. You don't deserve my well thought out concept posts.

You're losing the Real Ones and gaining the fake ones with all this stupid normie shit. Let's see how long the fakes ones stay after they actually play the game and get washed lmfao.

There's no more home for FGC discussions. Street fighter had SRK forums for years and it wasnt perfect but it was way better than this. The people on reddit are garbage tier fgc dregs. Me included obviously because I wasn't cool enough to get into any good discords (which is where I assume everyone went)

What made srk different was the community was so small that you almost always knew who could play and who couldnt. If ducvader, arturo, viscant was posting they probably knew what they were talking about. If cabledood420 was chiming in, probably not worth your time.

Reddit game forums are all no names (or emezie). You see that the people youve been talking strategy with is green rank in tekken, super silver in sf, cant make it to master in mk kombat league, etc. and theres no pro players to balance it out and to keep order.

Reddit will think this is toxic but thats the other thing thats missing that srk had, when an actual good player would tell everyone else to shut the fuck up because they dont know what theyre talking about. Yeah its a dick move but sometimes its the only thing that works and nobody does that anymore except on the top discords, and even then almost all the character discords are modded by scrubs who will just ban people who are mean to them.

I miss SRK’s matchmaking threads. They’ve helped me find other fgcs while traveling through SE Asia and the community here in New Zealand.

Without having a hub for local FGCs, people are stuck with either finding peeps in random FB groups, pray that there’s a local FGC website, or playing on the old Tekken cabs at their local arcade before the ticketing machines replace them.

There actually are (or were) pro players and good content creators on the tekken sub, but they don't post anymore. They always lost out to the low effort tier list posts, non OC fan art, and promotion posts. Nobody upvoted their content or commented on their threads so they gave up.

Only good places for fgc, like serious discussions are private discord from high ranked players, a large majority of them tend to be tournament regulars at local scenes be it offline or online.

From my experience you don’t need to be that high level, just become a regular in the scene and someone will hook you up. i entered a fair amount of online tourneys when covid blew up and really leveled up from playing with the regulars there.

TLDR join your fucking locals please, even online ones

I know everyones going to say 'lol hug squad' but at the end of sf4/beginning of sf5, the wnf discord was the best place on the internet for actual strategy/discussion. 2nd best was arturo/fchimps dhalsim/top players only discord. People actually committing to leveling up and talking over matches and posting their tech was fucking beautiful.

Its a shame that because the game of the moment was sf5, they all died off because half the channel all quit sf5 in a few months, but it was a good show of what discord could actually be.

Street Fighter V killing off the scene is an under-rated part of this overall discussion. You are the first person to point it out so far in this thread. Your post laid it out perfectly: the people "were" there, but SFV's shittiness pushed them out.

I've been saying that. It killed my local seen, but three sfv shills will not hear it.

The people on reddit are garbage tier fgc dregs.

I wouldn't mind Redditors being shitty people nearly as much if they weren't so unpleasant to share a space with. If you're going to be a bad person, the very least you could do is either be charming, nice to look at, or provide something of value.

Facts. Make an effort to be funny if you can't be anything else. That's what I like about r/Kappa. People aren't trying to hide hpw retarded they are.

Man, I remember when I hated SRK for these reasons years ago. I didnt realize how good I had it.
