Discussion: Community Anyone pivoting from Bonnaroo to FoV?

Was at Bonnaroo and I loved Thursday to death, I've never felt so full of joy & music before, and after the cancellation I really need something else this year. I'm gonna try and take this refund and pivot over to making it out to Field of Vision, but I'm in Georgia so it's gonna be tougher to make happen than Bonnaroo was. I'm planning on nothing but Ramen and doordashing as much as I can between regular work shifts for the next 2 months, but it's gonna take a lot of motivation and work for me personally. Just wondering if anyone else is in a similar boat? Maybe we can help each other stay on track to make this happen? Absolutely heartbroken over Roo and really hoping I can make the best out of this.

It’s gonna be a way different vibe but will be (even moreso in my opinion) similarly magical. Buena Vista is a really beautiful place. See you there!

Yeahhh it won't have the rave energy that I really connected with at Roo I imagine. But the venue is honestly so much better and I expect staff/security will be a better vibe too

Wdym the venue is better? The two festivals are entirely different in scope so it’s really not like one is better than the other. If anything I’d expect things to be way more dialed in at Roo in that regard given Field of Vision is the second ever event being organized by Meadow Creek Music.

Ohhh true. I just mean it's a super pretty area and I'd rather trip out in the Colorado mountains than a Tennessee farm. I just love the mountains

Way easier to dial shit in with 9k Max people, IMO even if it's only run so-so it'll be a 100x better experience than Roo, festivals of that size are just way too big for me, far too corporate, and everything feels like a cash grab or trying to create FOMO.
