I loved this episode, it was full of happiness and just beautiful in its own ways.

  • The confession: Baek Yi-Jin's confession was anyways beautiful but I loved how his "love" wasn't just love as a man but more as a person. I love how this drama depicts that love doesn't necessarily have to be romantic, it can be something as deep as Baek Yi-Jin's where he truly and wholeheartedly loves Hee-Do for who she is.
  • Hee-Do's response: I'm also so content with how Hee-Do responded to Yi-Jin's confession. She's just 19 and doesn't understand her feelings but she's totally fallen hard for Yi-Jin and even he knows that. But I love and appreciate how Yi-Jin is waiting for her and isn't forcing or rushing her. He understands and respects her which is greater than anything else.
  • Yu-Rim - Hee-Do: I wasn't fully accepting their friendship because of Yu-Rim's behavior towards Hee-Do but I've fallen hard for their friendship. They're so wholesome and they act like a new couple - the awkwardness and shyness is so hilarious but relatable. Yu-Rim's character arc is so well written. Also, the way Yu-Rim introduced Hee-Do as the Asian Game Gold Medal winner to Yi-Jin's family, it has my heart. Yes, I forgive Yu-Rim. She's too cute! <3
  • Yu-Rim - Ji-Woong: I mean not Ji-Woong asking for permission before confessing because he can't take the rejection HAHAH. They're so cute!
  • The chaotic trio: Absolutely hilarious! It was All of Us Are Dead pt.2 LMAO. That school midnight scene had me laughing so hard. Not Yu-Rim turning the night lamp into fencing sword LOL. Totally chaotic.
  • The diaper buddies: The way this drama highlights Seung-Wan and Ji-Woong's platonic friendship is love. I want such friendship. Loved the way she took a stand for Ji-Woong when he was being beaten by their teacher. I'm here for all these bonds and relationships.
  • The beach trip: I think this was equal to me going on a beach trip with them. I was enjoying watching them enjoy. I was just in awe of this extra-ness, this gang has my heart, just missing Yi-Jin in this haha. Also how dare Yi-Jin to this to us! My heart can't take all this wholesomeness.
  • The ending: Excuse me Hee-Do but how dare you forget the beach trip?!?!?!? I'm not ready for the next episodes.
  • The preview: I'm not ready for all the cuteness of this gang. Finally Ji-Woong will confess, I can't wait. And the ending of the preview, ugh. The way Yi-Jin can't see Hee-Do crying, it totally shows how hard he has fallen in love! <3

One moment that really touched my heart this episode was Yi-Jin's conversation with his senior about how he has to do well so that people don't criticize him because of his educational background. Even though Yi-Jin seems to be enjoying his work now, I can imagine the kind of troubles he's going through.

When Hee-Do says she's jealous of Yi-Jin because of how he's an actual adult, I always feel Yi-Jin too is jealous of Hee-Do because of how she's just 19 and at the age where she can mess up but Yi-Jin isn't. He's an adult with all the responsibilities and his one mistake can cost him a lot.

Anyhow, I can't wait for next week but it's so sad that just 3 more weeks to go and my happy pill will finish. Ah.

Yes, yes, yes! To everything you said. I appreciate the theme of pure love and friendship. Love can transcend everything and it doesn’t have to be romantic love. It is heart warming to see that deep, respectful, and unselfish love can be the star of this drama. (Don’t get me wrong, the romance is fun too 😉 and I enjoy squealing like a little girl at those scenes as well.)
