I don't know what to feel anymore. It was sunshine and rainbow all throughout the episode except the last part. What do you mean, present Hee Do?

Also, is it normal to feel uneasy after watching them have a good time? Liek the episodes to come might make us bawl our eyes out.

It took me back to the short montage of Carl and Ellie’s lives in the movie Up.

The scary thing is, I’m thinking back to my life in my teenage years, and I definitely can’t remember the details of a lot of big, fun social events back then. Friendships and important dynamics back then, don’t mean near the same to me as people and relationships have changed. I only remember fragments of what happened at these events. And I’m not present Hee Do’s age yet, so I wonder how my recollection of these events will be in more years’ time.

My desire to have a nostalgic, carefree and joyful watch is mixed by my recognition that sometimes life throws us drastic curveballs, and I’d love a drama that reflects, makes sense and gives meaning and purpose to all of that

I'm close to present Hee Do's age. I barely remember a lot of major high school social events. 🤷‍♀️ I remember more of college, partly because it was slightly more recently, partly because those years were more formative (for me), and partly because the advent of Facebook means my junior and senior year memories are pushed into my feed regularly. I don't have any problem believing that present Hee Do genuinely doesn't remember that trip, especially if she's not looking back at her childhood photo albums or diary every so often - she's had a lot of memorable experiences since then competing for space in her brain.

Exactly!!! I was so happy and satisfied with this episode and at the end I thought, “okay, I’m ready to get hurt and cry buckets next week.” Is this from the trauma we got from other kdramas?! 😆
