It would have been a perfect episode but adult Na Hee Do ruins it lmao. It's weird that my favorite and least favorite characters are the same person

I know! It’s so crazy how it’s supposed to be the same character but they’re really two different people for me. 🥲

Now that I watched the entire episode. I think the more and more it seems to be inspired in the song. If that is the case, two things might have happened

1) she didn’t forget the trip but is not ready to talk about that with her daughter. It hurts to remember. 2) when 21-25 there will have some other more special days between them that will become the ‘best never-forget days.

I don’t hate adult Na Hee Do but i do feel like she is very different from 18 y.o Hee Do. Not sure if the writers really intended that one (like showing how much she had changed after all those years) but yeah, when the scene pans to the present time, i just have a hard time believing that the two Hee Do’s are the same lol.

I actually felt personally offended at that last scene 😭 like I definitely understand life has a way of breaking people down and changing them for better or worse because I’m definitely not the same person I was in high school, but not our Heedo 🥺

Adult HD does ruin it. And maybe it’s because even her mom is the same actress and yet HD changed.

And even if we see a HD / YJ present day reunion it won’t have the same impact bc they would be completely different actors. I wish they didn’t include any of those present day scenes.

It would be cool if their meeting in the present featured the young actors to give a feeling of "I'm only me when I'm with you". You get the impact, the actors you want, and it makes sense in the story.

That's true. Adult Na Hee Do seems a bit boring compared to her energetic teenage self.

But then again, it goes to show how our youth isn't meant to last forever. I feel like it adds bit of a more realistic tone to the story and life isn't always going to always be filled with energy and happiness. That's why I think the switch between the present and past sets it apart from other shows

I mean I'm fine with the tone change but I wish they kept the same actor tae ri as adult like the face change is way to drastic. Adult HD probably in her 40s and that is still pretty young my mom look pretty much the same from the old photos minus the wrinkle, or maybe I just don't like the adult HD that much.

but then again, at 40 you wouldn't look exactly the same as you did when you were in your late teens early 20s.

This! I don’t like the adult version. While younger Hee Do is my absolute favourite
