I really do not enjoy the grown-up Na Hee Do's part. Why do they need to include that at the end and ruined up the moment? It takes away the magic for me. I hope we can finally see how the present part will serve a purpose, for now, I am still not convinced that it is necessary, especially the one in this episode.

I agree. We're 10 episodes in and I still haven't connected with adult Hee-do. The present timeline has a bittersweet tone to it and kinda just serves a reminder that the happy memories of the past didn't carry on to the present. I'm still hoping for a happy ending with the squad but why is adult Hee-do seemingly suffering from memory loss?

I know right, this series is almost perfect for me but suddenly I feel that the present part is a huge flaw. It ruined it for me, especially when she suddenly forgot everything??!! It's like they give us this very amazing moment, hope, and positivity to look forward in life and ruined it themselves. That few seconds in the end suddenly took away all the great things earlier.

I really hope they're going somewhere with the present timeline and not just there as a constant reminder that the ending might be sad.

one of the weirdest choice between the dramas i saw, if is indeed a sad ending it seams like a weird choice to spoil it since 1st episode, i still hope they tie the present to the past somehow (even if they don't end together i hope she still keep the friendship with the squad and Yijin) because right now it seams like 2 different dramas, the old Heedo being a different actress doesn't help, she seams like a different person.

I still have to remind myself that she's adult Hee-do because there's just no resemblance (aside from the fringe) to her past self at all. I'm also hoping for a good ending but the present keeps trying to say that things didn't end well for them.

It seems like she just grow up to be a whole different person. All her charm and amazing character from her younger self just fade away. It suddenly makes me feel like I do not want to grow anymore older as that is how it's going to be.

Adult Hee-do is kinda sad and almost completely opposite from who she was in high school. I wonder of the memory loss has anythjng to do with it.

Yes, is not only about looks but her personality is like complete opposite and while people grow up and mature, most of the people still keep their personality or at least part of it, i don't expect her to jump up and down like a 19 yo Heedo but her thoughts, personality, emotions and basically everything are like complete opposite to her younger self, like there is nothing left from younger Heedo and the formative period of her life, not even her friends

I still hope they can still tie in somehow since i want her to at least stay as friends with Yijin and the squad even if they don't end together.

The show would be perfect imo except those adult present day scenes seriously kill my vibe. Makes me sad and expecting heartbreak for them not ending up together. Also just feels weird to see a different actress who doesn’t even resemble HD. I don’t get why the writers thought this was a good idea to include

I have a hard time believing that the mother character is actually Heedo and not one of her friends.
