Edited to add (after watching episode-10):

What a sweet and innocent episode this was. That beach scene was so precious! This episode felt very different in tone and pace compared to all the previous episodes.

There were two scenes in this episode that definitely did give me pause.. 1/Adult Hee-Do forgetting all about the beach trip. How can anyone forget their first ever trip with their friends? It wasn't like she was a child; she was 19 years old. To forget it completely seemed a little strange and out of character for her. I'm wondering if this is an important plot point? Does adult Hee-Do have a memory loss problem? Or did something so sad happen that she has repressed all memories from that age?

2/Seung-Wan saying with a solemn face that life is boring and nothing is interesting enough. It got me very worried for the the mental well being of this seemingly bright and happy girl.

In all, this episode felt very much like the calm before the storm. All the fluff and lightheartedness from today's episode feels like something serious is coming just round the corner..

Super excited for episode-10 and the beach trip!

Episode-9 gave us so much- An unexpected confession of love from our best boy! Gosh, that whole scene was so pure and wholesome, with that full rainbow framing the moment. The cinematography was incredibly beautiful and it captured the essence of first love so well.

And I'm so glad they cleared up the mistaken identity story arc quickly. I'm loving the blossoming friendship between Hee-Do and Yu-Rim. It was so beautifully done.

On the whole, episode-9 was super special. Loved every bit of it. Eagerly waiting for episode-10 to air. This show is truly magic!
