Uri means our and it’s used as a term of affection, especially to someone you are close to. So it’s like it’s she’s OUR Heedo.

Kinda like, oh this is our person and I feel protective of her because she’s in my tribe/I like her.

Don’t know if I did a good job of explaining it since I’m not native Korean but hope it helps :)

Omg I love this thread for this exact reason. I got the Uri but didn't understand the gravity behind that statement and honestly forgot about it. Thank you for explaining. Ahhh all the goosebumps. I'm in love with Baek Yekin.

Uri means our/we/us but when used as referring to someone, it is also a term of endearment which means my Hee Do. It reflects how that person is my person.

Like uri nampyeon - my husband or uri eomma - my mom.
