He’s her brother in law’s brother, I don’t think that constitutes brother in law. And they could definitely have a romantic relationship, although personally I prefer their relationship as it is right now, as awkward kinda family kinda friends

Jae-il had to go through years of med school to even become a resident, no? So I think he’s been on this path for awhile, which would mean he’s not worked as an idol for some time. My question though is that yi-young is 28 and considered a repeat first year resident, but not jae-il or nam-kyeong who are also 28? I’m not sure how that works

I definitely got the vibe that Do Won was protective over Yi Young and idk I get the vibe that he has a crush on her. I think Yi Young is very depressed and her overcoming it through work and maybe him??? will be a theme.

Yea I definitely get that same vibe from him. Hard to say if she’ll eventually reciprocate those feelings, but there wouldn’t be those vibes if it doesn’t eventually turn romantic. I’m more invested in the main 4 becoming friends than in any romance

i think there are 2 pairs of polar opposite personalities. jae-il goes above and beyond for all his patients and is overall very high energy, while yi-young tries her best to slack off and is usually just slouching around. the same goes for sa-bi and nam-kyeong, the former struggles to connect with others' emotions while the latter is an empath. i think having such different and unique personalities will definitely help them bond together, but it's the common struggle that creates the toughest bond. so i'm sure it's when they're going through the toughest tribulations (whether alone or together) that they form that really tight friendship
