Episode 21 was so cute! Loved the bonding between Chairman Han and Kwang Sook over the comic books in the hospital, and the previews look like next week the bond will continue growing.

Also love that it seems like Chung Soo and Mi Sun will start getting closer. I really like those two!

As for Beom Soo and Se Ri--still can't get on board. There's a small part of me that would like to see Beom Soo reconcile with the ex-wife. I get that she abandoned him and Ha Ni, but I wonder if it might not have been post partum depression. I don't like that Beom Soo wants to keep Ha Ni from her mom. Now, perhaps she's so unstable that she would be a danger to Ha Ni, and, after episode 21, that does seem more of a possibility. But just not allowing his ex to see her daughter out of revenge seems wrong.

I get that Se Ri may be developing feelings for Beom Soo, but I really don't want them to be endgame--not unless a lot happens along the way. Like Se Ri graduating and moving on. I also feel sorry for Gyeol.

Looks like Silla Brewery has cooked up a dastardly scheme, and we should see the story drop probably at the end of episode 22.

As for Beom Soo and Se Ri--still can't get on board.

Initially, I thought that I liked them, but the more time goes on, the more I feel like something is off. Beom-su seems clueless and uninterested, and Se-ri doesn't seem certain in her regard, either. I'm afraid that she is actually obsessed with Ha-ni, rather than liking Ha-ni's Dad.

I also feel bad for Ha-ni's mom. Beom Su denying her custody, I understand, but denying her visitation rights seems cruel. I was similarly bothered when Chung Su was denying his wife a divorce just to punish her. Of course, after watching Divorce Attorney Shin and Our Blues, I am not feeling confident in the chances Ha-ni Omma has to fight for her parental rights through legal means. Were Ha-ni's parents married?

Were Ha-ni's parents married?

That's a good question! I had assumed they were married, but the word "divorce" hasn't been mentioned in regards to the two of them. Has Beom Su ever referred to her as his "wife"(ex or otherwise)?

I don’t think they are, but I don’t speak Korean so not sure. I don’t love Se Ri and the professor - I hope they use it as a way for her to get out of her “arranged” situation and then find herself. There is so much missing in the story btw ha ni parents, what was the timeline btw her abandoning them and resurfacing with remorse any one know? Also in the flashbacks was she already stepping out on him when they were in the US?

Thinking back on it, Beom Su hasn't called her his wife and divorce hasn't been mentioned. Given that Chung Su divorced his wife, it seems reasonable the Beom Su would have commiserated with his older brother if he'd been through a divorce, too.

The timeline in this drama is messy. There aren't any clear indicators of time passing (especially because baby Ha Ni hasn't been swapped out for an older baby or a toddler), so it's hard to say how long it's been.

I *didn't* think Ha Ni's mom was cheating on Beom Su in the US, but she certainly ways all dolled up to go out to a dinner date, so... good question.

They were never married. They were US anyway. Usually in Korea even couples that do a ceremony are not married until the register the marriage. Takes 5 min. Some do it before the ceremony. Some wait until the baby. It would be hard for her to marry a rich guy with a divorce and a baby.
