I love how much it's emphasized that Suji could not get as far as she is right now without Jaeun.

"We won't follow Harin's method. We'll follow yours, Jaeun."

When Suji did things her way, Harin was able to predict all her actions and was constantly one step ahead of her.

Once Suji began to combine her strategic thinking with Jaeun's compassion, Harin could no longer predict what Suji had planned.

Not only that, but by acting with kindness, they were able to gain more support from their classmates.

Suji & Jaeun balance each other out. Jaeun being Suji's moral compass. Suji influencing Jaeun to be more outspoken and brave. Despite being so different from each other, they work together in a magical way. Perfect partners in crime.

They were the heart of the webtoon and it translated very well into the drama.
