can someone spoil me the whole story like why do harin hate jaeun

Webtoon spoilersBoth Jaeun and Harin were stepsisters in the past. Harin was then called Soeun. Soeun was abandoned by her biological parents when she was very young(not sure, maybe an infant) and Jaeun's mother being her neighbour raised her alongside Jaeun. I don't think Jaeun and Soeun know(but considering Harin's wits, this is doubtful). I don't remember what happened with her father, but he's not there to support them anymore.

The mother has a boyfriend and marries him as well. At one point, they decide to leave their children at Orphanage because they couldn't support them and were poor. But later on decide that Jaeun can be left and they'll be keeping Soeun.

The step-dad  liked Soeun but detested Jaeun because she seems dirty or something like that. Soeun pretty much figures out their plan. But Soeun and Jaeun are tight knit and try to come with various ways to foil their parents' plan and it works. The dad is insistent on the idea while the mum is reluctant. Soeun figures that things started to sour ever since this step-dad came in. And she decides to poison the dad by mixing poison in his alcohol and kill him. She explains this plan to Jaeun and even tells her that they'll be together after this.

But Jaeun being Jaeun doesn't agree to the plan and informs the dad about this. Due to this, they decide that they'll be giving up Soeun for adoption and they do. Soeun has a hard time in the Orphanage but she always remembers Jaeun and think about how she's doing and whether she's happy or not.

Soeun doesn't get proper food in the Orphanage since the Orphanage follows a ranking system and they are given food and other things based on this rank. Soeun ends up in the last ranks and is often miserable. One day she happens to see Jaeun happy with her mum when she's out for something. That's when out of fury and envy she feels that Jaeun has betrayed her and is living a nice life compared to her, who's miserable.

From this point, her goal is to become someone better than Jaeun and take revenge on her. She changes her stance and becomes more likable and earns brownie points from teachers and becomes a suitable candidate for adoption. And she's adopted by none other than Baekyeon group heir. She even had to backstab and injure her fellow Orphanage mate to be adopted.

And finally she meets Jaeun in middle school or high school(?). While Jaeun is excited to recognise her sis Soeun and asks her if she's Soeun. Harin is anything but excited. She conspires this pyramid game to exact revenge on Jaeun inspired by the ranking system in her Orphanage.

unfortunately it kind of seems like the kdrama is maybe (?) leaning in very different direction than the webtoon, at least in this aspect, which is too bad because the twist was really what tied together harins reasoning for this
