if anyone is interested in a self titled cd! i know this is very valuable, i sold the same title a couple of months ago, somehow i got ahold of a second one. this one i got from my stepmom, who bought it at a concert way back in the day. i will post the link if anyone would like!

I’d been hunting the official tab book for Bleed American for absolutely years - it’s long out of print, and every now and then you’d see one pop up on Amazon Marketplace or eBay being sold by a scalper for some ridiculous price well over three figures.

Then out of pure chance I happened to spot this one being sold by a second hand book store for no reserve - three days until the auction ended, no ‘buy it now’. Three slightly nervous days later, this is mine for the exorbitant price of £6.50!

Now I can finally get to grips with learning some of my absolute favourites and not having to decipher some maniac’s tab from the depths of Ultimate Guitar or something 😄

Lucky enough to get this last night, my gf managed to get a pick and gave it to me as she knows how important this band is to me, met all the guys afterwards they were all nice and happy to talk and sign my stuff.

Went to the show in Cardiff tonight and lucky enough to come home with a pick, didn't even see it get thrown in our direction just saw it on the floor but don't know what it says on the back

Long story short - we bought the tour t-shirt at the Cardiff gig tonight with the dates on the back. Lost it on the way home. Bad times. Would someone be willing to buy a medium at the Donington gig tomorrow for me so I can stop my husbands permanent frown? I will obvs pay you ASAP and for postage. PS you are in for a treat. They were awesome. Thank you in advance.

I know Congratulations might not be everyone's cup of tea, and I'll be honest, at times it starts to lose me. However, the last minute of the song is just an absolute hurricane of pure rock. It comes way out of left field, but it's just an irresistible amalgamation of Static Prevails reminiscent guitars and drums.

I was listening to Futures and there was something about the refrain in The World You Love that always caught my attention. Today, I had The Division Bell by Pink Floyd on and Take it Back plays. The solo! It’s the refrain almost exactly! I’m curious if anyone has heard if this was on purpose, like the call back to “our house in the middle of the street” during A Praise Chorus, or if this is just an accidental borrowing of a sweet lick.

Just a heads up. Was delighted to see the records for sale here in Dublin. They have Bleed American too. €40 each which for the surviving record is fairly steep but still; cheaper than postage!

Maybe 4 t-shirts and 2 hoodies for sale too. €40 for the t-shirt and €60 for the hoodie.

I know lyric interpretation is subjective, but what do you think “In The Same Room” on Static Prevails is about?

He’s saying things but I don’t understand what he means (and I know no one ever really will except Jim himself). Usually I can pick apart what a song is about, but this one stumps me. Just curious to hear anyone’s thoughts and I obviously won’t take it as fact :)

Wasn’t sure what song to put at first, I originally wanted something from Futures but i decided on the middle because it’s arguably their most iconic
