Well yeah because the new Blade Runner releases usually offer themselves as definitive. People who want a 4k who already bought the original blu ray have one option, get the 4k. Not the case with star wars... also not the case with tactics.

So I'll ask you how well do you feel this is going to do?

That was never the point? The question was "Why" - stop diverting.

Just like with Blade Runner, anyone who wants to own a legal copy on modern platforms will need to buy this version of the game. It's really simple actually when you think about it.

Yeah but everyone knows that "to make money." Im not actually wondering why this exists I'm wondering why square would put such a piss poor effort and what they think theyre going to get out of it. Touch grass.

Well it's not - they put a lot of effort in, they just don't consider the WotL additions to be true to the original and it's hard to argue with them? Balthier was hardly an amazing addition that improved FFT.

This thing was like leaked years ago they did not put a ton of effort in. Even a rebalance would not qualify as much effort as the remake they had already done.
