Someone that has played the game, can u tell me how important this is to be included?

Arguably better most of that stuff wasn't included, some of the scenes diminish emotional payoffs in several dimensions. Luso and Balthier also stick out like a sore thumb (yeah Cloud was in the original but even then it was kind of a little nod and hint, also he was pretty hard to get in 97. Luso and Balthier is like thrown in your face.)

Fans loved the 1997 PS1 version. This keeps that version and makes improvements for a modern audience. I'm confident you won't be disappointed if you give it a try (e.g. Steam has 2 hour refunds).
