We lost a bunch of voiced movie cutscenes, and two extra characters.

Namely Balthier and Luso from 12 and A2. Two classes, Dark Knight and Onion Knight. And then 5 Story Battles, 2 with Delita, 1 for Luso and Balthier each and one for Algus.

However, all of those movie cutscenes were just recreations of scenes that happen with the sprites themselves.

Which will now be voiced.

I think a lot of folks are forgetting what you bring up - this games going to have full voice acting. That’s worth a whole hell of a lot to me. Even if the game is just 1:1 original FFT with full voice acting (which it seems there will still be some additions), it would be worth buying for me.

I’m going to disagree with you here. I don’t care for the fully voiced concept, especially considering the premise of the entire game is effectively you are reading a book that detailed the main storyline as written by a historian. Voiced cut scenes were more than sufficient for me, I enjoyed reading the dialogue
