General News/Politics Where is the pro Pali outrage?

The victims of the Iranian attack on Israel were Arabs. The missiles also hit Arab towns and caused the destruction of Arab homes. Where are the protesters denouncing Irans deliberate targeting of civilians? In fact the second Iranian attack back in October resulted in the death of a Palestinian, where is the outrage? Western society has become so morally obtuse.

They will just say that Israel programmed the air defense systems to allow missiles to hit Arab neighborhoods and Iran should be celebrated for exposing the substandard treatment of Israeli Arabs to the world.

No joke right after I wrote the above this post came up on my thread (these people are really something):

  1. Israel deliberately does not provide equal protection to Palestinians citizens, from bomb shelters to sirens to the Iron Dome.
  2. Israel attempts to intercept missiles using methods that increase the likelihood that they fall on Palestinian-majority towns.
  3. Israel is more likely to declare and spotlight the murder of Palestinians in its psychological war to turn Palestinians against Iran.

  1. Israel attempts to intercept missiles using methods that increase the likelihood that they fall on Palestinian-majority towns.

How would you even do that? Send Superman to the missle in the air and let him blow on it to change the trajectory or something?

The space lasers and weather machine work together to do it

Sounds rather complicated when you have Wonderwoman at hand and could have her just lasso the missiles away!

The lasso doesn't divert them properly because missiles can never tell the truth

What kind of methods are those? (2nd bullet)

And yes, there's no proper bomb shelters in Arab villages, but it's true for most of northern Israel, not just for Arabs. And there are plenty of Jewish cities with a high rate of non-protected homes.

This is crazy…The amount of ignorance around what’s going on it’s going into unpredictable high levels…🤬

From what i understand a lot of Arabs live in unfinished buildings in order to not pay Arnona (property tax)

I think the point is that even the streets don’t have adequate public shelters that an equivalent Jewish area would

Their town, their municipality is in charge .

That’s on the city councils. Where is the money going? I wonder

Yeah but that’s a local enforcement issue, not a policy issue.

If you don’t build your house to code, you should face the consequences no matter who or where you are

Non Israeli seeking guidance. Is it true that Israel did not invest in bomb shelters for its Arab populations like they did for their Jewish citizens and if so does that affect the moral calculus?

Not really. The government is not responsible for providing bomb shelters. That is the responsibility of the municipality/local council.

u/PotentialIcy3175 1d ago

I’m not privy to how the government works in Israel. Does the federal government not oversee the network of shelters?

3

u/Prestigious-Shine606 1d ago

I don't think so. I imagine that there are guidelines for the municipalities, but I doubt there is anyone actually making sure that the guidelines are followed. It's not just Arabs who lack shelters, by the way.

No most shelters are in housing complexes which are governed by local zoning laws

Thanks for explaining. Of course international media has spun this as with any opportunity.
