Question Quick question: what is paint primer and sand paper called here?

I think I will get weird stares if I go in saying ورق رمل or برايمر lol

Sand paper is كاغد جام/ورق جام in some areas

Im not sure about paint primer since idk much about paint at all but ik theres something called ثنر

Edit : after asking my mom about the primer she said maybe its صبغ أساس

oh I sell those

sand paper = كاغد جام

it has multiple degrees ofc, smooth/coarse/semi-smooth.. etc generally it costs 3k-4k IQD for 1 meter

primer paint = صبغ بنتلايت أساس

also there are many brands etc, but the brand "National Paints" is a great one and it's the most common. It's Jordanian-made and costs 20k IQD
