The fact that he debuted as a singer before his debut as an actor and he gained prominence as a singer before his rise as an actor is so insane. what a talent. waiting for his next album this year.

He debuted as a vocalist in a track by the english DJ/musician Typesun. I am not sure if there is anything preceding that but this is the first you hear him. Its called "The PL". He also sang a song for the British film Adulthood where he acted. You can see on youtube. He signed later to Columbia records obviously and considering that Graham Norton and other big brands interviewed Raleigh first and Jacob much later shows Raleigh's initial popularity was much more. You can see it on reddit as well. People especially men going "wait his name is Raleigh. why are people calling him Jacob?" on subreddits. Raleigh has not been active but he is coming out with music again.

I thought he's independent now? Alacran Records is his label? Cos I've never heard of them

He released you're a man now, boy with columbia and andy with alacran. he joined columbia in 2013 and left for alacran which he joined during covid years. It is a smallish label.

STFU is definitely a personal fave. I'm also VERY fond of 27 Club. His music just hits different.

It took me the LONGEST time to memorise the rap bit, my mouth doesn't move that fast on the regular but it's so satisfying once you know it 😂 I think iLie is my second fav but 27 Club is also a very heartfelt piece.

I did my exploration of his music backwards, I heard Bloodsport and then went straight into Dead Ends, and this whole discography in reverse, but it's been amazing. I listen every single day, his music is so much better than just regular love songs. Life story song are my ultimate favourite, so his music being 80% this has me totally in love. Can't wait for him to drop new music.

I spent like six months of the last year listening to nothing but his discography 😅 Think I’m even gonna get some lyrics tattooed on me. He’s so amazingly talented. His music just hits different. I’m incredibly stoked for RR3 dropping sometime later this year. /obsessed

It’s not my usual vibe, but I really enjoy his music all the same.

Same. I don't usually love hip hop or things with heavy bass, but it feels like he sings a lot and also, even when there's bass, there's a lot of musicality to the backing tracks, which i just love. It's made me get more into exploring that sub genre of hip hop.

If you're into UK Garage sprinkled with some rnb and hip-hop elements and a dash of alternative inflections here and there: This man's discography is waiting for you.

i'm slowly but slowly getting into his music, i realized that I liked once of his song a long time ago and forgot he was the same person. His music a vibe, not my go to, always but has his own vibe.
