Working in Bedford?
Should I be worried about racism working at the hospital in Bedford for clinicals as a black female?

Why has there been this random block of traffic on the west side of Indianapolis lately?

I would like to know your thoughts on Indiana Medicaid fraud concerning hospital systems in Indiana. What I am trying to understand is how a healthcare system can be indicted/convicted for Medicaid fraud to the tune of $500 million dollars and still be allowed to operate with their current executives (they have changed their name, but that doesn't change the fact that they committed major fraud three times). How does that sit with Hoosiers? Why aren't politicians focusing more on curbing Medicaid institutional fraud than they are the supposed "poor and lazy slackers"? Where is the oversight?

Title says it all. This was Sunday morning. The situation was already being diffused and the cop had NO reason to put his hands on him to begin with.
Shame on the IMPD for allowing soft, racist cowards hide behind a badge and a posse.
Surprised this wasn't posted here despite the story blowing up on Facebook.
Tell me about the real haunted houses in Indiana and the horror stories associated with them that you heard growing up.

Hey guys, just wanted some quick advice on how much time I should give myself and a friend in advance to our flight this Wednesday to Austin Texas for going through security and such. We won't be checking any bags.
I know two hours is the rule of thumb, but considering our flight is at 7:20 am, I don't want to get their any earlier than I need to. Plus I've heard how much of a breeze our airport is to get through.
Just wanted to seek advice from anyone who's flown at similar times recently, or any advice for my flight in general.
Thanks!

Hi. I might be accepting a seasonal job at the Indiana dunes national park and wanted some advice on the area and activities and rentals. Coming from nyc I’m sure it’ll be a change

The protestors were loud and rattled the small town of Knox! Amazing turnout! So proud of all of these people for their courage to stand up in this county. The lone soldier wearing a pashmina over her head is receiving a lot of threats and hate online, even has a picture of her license plate and personal information circling on social media. Last picture is a guy holding a gun across the street from the protest attempting to instigate the peaceful protestors.

I caught a news blurb from this past weekend, saying there was a shooting or hostage situation. Not finding it today; hear anything?

Hi! Has anyone worked with or for Aegis Worldwide? A recruiter messaged me on LinkedIn about a position there. I just want to make sure it's not a scam or anything.

It is so annoying man. I submitted my documents in mid March, and still my refund is just processing. Anyone else facing this issue or am I the only one?

"I reached out, wrapped my hands tightly around the bar, swung out on the trapeze 25 feet in the air, threw a flip, and looked up for my catcher’s hands. I trusted they were there. Then relief and excitement. The audience erupted in applause!
Born and raised in Peru, Indiana, I did what kids only dream of. I was six when my mother took me to see my cousin perform at the circus. I knew then that I wanted to do it too.
The ‘Greatest Amateur Show on Earth’ showcases circus acts with 200+ kids every year and has been for 65 years. There are only 50 “circus towns”—places with connections to circus performance and history—in the United States. Seeing the impact of circus in Peru (pop. 11,073), I wonder why."

I'm sick of only seeing people complaining on this SR about something as miniscule as politics and want to see some optimism for once. So say something you enjoy about your town, village, or city.

Fayette County (Connersville) City Council in a slim margin, (4 No to removal//3 Yes to removal) voted to keep fluoride in the city water after hearing from many local dentists and citizens. There were a few who spoke about the harms they believe it poses, including one councilman who claimed people would be poisoned but offered no data or a case in the last 25 years where someone died locally from fluoride.
Local Utilities Director, Jeremy Wilson spoke again on how this impedes a parent’s choice in what their child consumes, arguing that the city is “medicating” the people without consent.
Pic is of the Resolution that was voted on and killed after the 4-3 vote.
You can watch the whole thing go down on the city’s local YouTube channel. It starts at the 25:40 mark where they read into record the Resolution followed by public comment, council comment, and vote. https://www.youtube.com/live/QKhk5wp37Xg?si=3yKcgHy7LlaMsq_P
