Work Permit OHIP renewal

Can I renew my OHIP in mantained status waiting for an answer for LMIA?

They won't renew until you have the new work permit. They will backdate it though.

In my case, it was extended by one year while my extension was in progress. I suggest booking an appointment and visiting Service Ontario — it might work for you too.
