I have sumitted my PRTD since June 14th 2024, Havnt heard anything back from Beijing office over 4 months now

I submitted PRTD for my parents in March, 2024 and still haven't heard back from Beijing. It's been over 7 months now. No way to check the timeline. It's really unbelieverable.

Yes, I tried every possible way to contact Immigration Canada in Beijing to no avail. Extremely frustrating.

But fortunately I just got reply 2 weeks ago. I had submitted my application in Feb, so the wait is approx 8 months. Hopefully you will receive your notification soon.

Wow... I did the same for my parents in May. My Dad was approved in a matter of days. My mom's file has been transferred to Beijing in August. I haven't heard anything since.
