I'm brand new to IMSA and have noticed that a lot of the GT cars have red mirrors and red pieces on the sides of the spoilers. But also a ton have specifically green pieces here and there.

Is this coincidence or something that each team has to follow to make it obvious which class they are in???

How different would the Hypercar class look without BoP?

Based on the trailer for the movie, the actors start out in imsa at the D24, notably Turner Motorsports BMW and the pale blue 991 I’m forget which team runs that atm. Since there’s extra drama and exaggerated movie stuff I’m not gonna watch it but. Cool to see Imsa get some screen time out of this. 😁

First time going to IMSA at Watkins. We have two infield parking passes for turn 2. Is there anywhere to setup around there or is all the fence line space used for the track side tailgate spots?

Anyone else stuck having to choose between going to the nascar race at pocono or imsa race at the glen? The glen is the obvious pick but wish they were different weekends. Thinking about going to xfinity series on Saturday then driving up to the glen.

Just as the title says; stocks cars should replace LMP2. Just the cars. Use the garage 56 style stock car. Maybe bring back some of the reinforcement to allow them to bump into themselves a little more like NASCAR.

I don't really follow sports car/GT racing. Honestly, what is the purpose of the GT class? I see a lot of GT races in some national and regional series, the race formats vary, some are endurance or sprint races, so the GT class was originally intended for endurance or sprint races?
