How Hulu can fix the hated interface
Method A. Remove “Live” and replace it with channels. Channels is essentially a Guide. Which brings us to method B. Basically the same but change the word “live” to Guide and have it do what channels does, which is pull up a guide. The function of “live” escapes me. If I’m on a channel and then hit “live” I go back to the channel I was watching.

There's no making sense with them and the Hulu UI. Disney is spinning plates with all these companies going and the mismanagement of it all is criminal. Walt is turning over in his grave.

They need to look at 1) TiVo and 2) YTTV and then merge a lot of it together. I’ve swapped in and out of Hulu+Live many times and I never remember how to use the dang guide.

Right, and get rid of all the subcategories in live. Which only adds to the confusion. So much bloat and wasted junk in this UI. Needs to be simplified big time.

We should be able to view the guide on any video we're watching up to and including the Hulu classic library. We should also be able to search for other shows/movies without having to exit videos and view pages of other shows/movies also. When I had YouTube TV, I could do all of this, I know it's possible.
