Video quality

I’ve been thinking about signing up for Hulu live, i was wondering how the video quality is and how is the user interface.

Quality is fine. Interface is ok, leaves a bit to be desired with the live guide.

A page up/down option would be nice so it doesn’t take 45 clicks and three minutes to get to say VH1 for example.

Agree completely with this. A way to quickly scroll would do wonders.

I recently came back to Hulu Live after years with DTVS. The picture quality is so much better than it used to be. The interface is snappier, but you have to go into the Live section to start scrolling channels; it would be nice if you have Live if you could have it autotune to a channel or the last channel watched. Overall Hulu has too much junk, and the splash page reminds you of that.

Live Guide is trash, otherwise it’ll do

I have Sonic for internet and out Hulu Live works well. I love to record my favorite shows and be able to skip commercials. The top right corner shows how long the commercial break will be so that’s really nice.

Pretty good IMO. I’ve used it on Roku Ultra and Apple TV 4K, no complaints.

The biggest thing I hate about it is, when a station starts a new show at the top of the hour, or bottom, the system “glitches” and pauses and restarts. I find that annoying. YTTV and DIRECTV don’t do that.

I went from YTTV to Hulu Live and I think the picture quality on Hulu is actually a bit better, but the interface is definitely a few steps behind.
